Step 1
Bake the Fries: Preheat your oven according to the french fry package instructions. Bake the fries on a large baking sheet until they are extra crispy.
Step 2
Brown the Meat: While the fries bake, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent. Drain any excess grease.
Step 3
Season: Stir the garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the beef. Remove from heat.
Step 4
Make the Sauce: Whisk the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl until smooth.
Step 5
Assemble: Leave the crisp fries on the baking sheet. Layer the seasoned ground beef evenly over the fries. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and diced pickles over the top.
Step 6
Melt the Cheese: Return the baking sheet to the oven for 3 to 5 minutes, just until the cheese is completely melted and bubbling.
Step 7
Finish and Serve: Drizzle the tomato-free special sauce over the hot fries immediately before serving.
