Step 1
Prep the pickles: Take your 4 dill pickle spears out of the jar and pat them completely dry with a paper towel. If they are too wet, the cheese and meat won't wrap around them tightly.
Step 2
Mix the savory spread: In a small bowl, stir the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper together until smooth.
Step 3
Lay out the base: Place a large sheet of plastic wrap flat on your counter. Lay down your 4 large slices of cheese next to each other on the plastic wrap.
Step 4
Add the cream cheese: Use a butter knife to spread a thin, even layer of the seasoned cream cheese directly onto each slice of cheese.
Step 5
Layer the Buddig meat: Press 2 slices of your Buddig lunch meat flat over the cream cheese on each slice.
Step 6
Roll around the pickle: Place one dry pickle spear at the edge of each meat-and-cheese stack. Roll the cheese and meat tightly around the pickle spear to form a solid log. Wrap each log tightly in the plastic wrap.
Step 7
Chill and serve: Pop the wrapped logs into the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up. Eat them whole like a hot dog, or unwrap and slice them into thick wheels to eat with toothpicks.
