Step 1
Pre heat the oven to 190. In the big glass bowl, melt the butter slightly & add to a bowl with the sugar - whisk together until the sugar starts to melt & the mixture becomes smooth, then stir in the milk and vanilla extract

add in the flour, cornflour, bicarbonate of soda & mix well until a cookie dough is formed add the chocolate of choice!

press the mixture into a lined baking dish, I used a 9x9inch square tin
Step 4
bake for 18-20 minutes on 190C until the top of the cookie looks slightly brown
Step 5
leave to cool for 15-20 minutes before cutting into squares - or dive right in for warm cookie dough
