Instructions
Step 1
melt butter in pan, until it bubbles and almost browns. put in mixing bowl to cool.

combine flour and baking soda
Step 3
add sugar to butter and whisk, beat in egg and vanilla. only mix lightly.
Step 4
add dry ingredients and fold into wet with spatula. fold in chocolate chips.
Step 5
scoop onto tray with an ice cream scoop, they spread very much so leave space on either sides. bake at 180°C until sides are crispy and middle is soft, underbake middle a little so it is chewy
Step 6
leave to set in hot oven for a couple minutes.
