Preheat oven to 325˚F.

Lightly grease an 8-inch square pan.

Melt the chocolate and butter in double boiler Cool the mixture for 5 minutes.

Pour mixture over sugar

Beat at medium speed

Scrape the bowl with a rubber spatula.

Add the vanilla.

Blend in eggs one at a time

Blend in flour

Stir in nuts.

Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan

Sprinkle remaining nuts over the top.

Bake in center oven rack 35 minutes

Test, center comes out a moist crumb

Cool for 1 hour before cutting the brownies.

Blend in evaporated milk

Beat sugar and the melted chocolate medium-low speed.

Frosting cooled brownies and allow them to sit for 1 hour before cutting.
