Soft Taco Casserole

6 steps
Prep:15minCook:20min
This casserole has all the things you love about a really great taco in one big easy casserole dish. My family always asks me to make this. To make it a bit more spicy you can add taco seasoning to your hamburger meat 😍

Instructions

Step 1
Cook your hamburger meat and drain grease. Add to casserole dish.
Step 2
Make rice in pot and then add to the casserole dish
Step 3
Cut tortilla shells into 2-3 inch strips. I like to roll up the shells into one long pinwheel roll and then slice them, so that they are thicker in the dish.
Step 4
Add entire can of black beans (and juice), chilis, salsa, and tomato paste into the casserole dish and 1/2 cup of shredded cheese. Mix well.
Step 5
Bake at 400 for 12 minutes, take out and add shredded cheese to the top and cook for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Step 6
Sprinkle cilantro on top and a dollop of sour cream
