Zucchini Pesto Sausage Pizza

Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees

2. Heat a small nonstick skillet over medium high. Add sausage and cook, stirring and breaking up sausage with a wooden spoon until cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes

3. Transfer sausage to a plate

4. Add zucchini and one tablespoon of pesto to the skillet, cook stirring often until zucchini is slightly tender, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat

5. Place pizza crusts on a baking sheet, and spread remaining 3 tablespoons of pesto evenly over crusts

6. Top crusts evenly with zucchini mixture, sausage, mozzarella and red pepper
Step 7
7. Bake at 450 degrees until crusts are crisped on edges and cheese is melted, 7-8 minutes
Step 8
8. Remove from oven and sprinkle evenly with basil
Step 9
9. Cut each piece into four slices and serve immediately
