1 ¾ cupsflour
all purpose
½ tspsalt
¾ tspbaking powder
½ tspgarlic powder
5 Tbspsalted butter
1 cupmilk
1 cupshredded cheddar cheese

For The Topping:
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450°F.

Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, salt, garlic powder and baking powder.
Step 3
Using a pastry cutter, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Step 4
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, add the milk and cheddar cheese, stir to combine.
Step 5
Drop batter using a 2" scoop onto a lined baking sheet. (2 tbsp), Leaving enough room between each ball for expansion as the cook. They will almost double in size.
Step 6
Bake in preheated oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Step 7
While the biscuits are in the oven stir together 2 tbsps. melted butter, garlic powder and parsley.
Step 8
Remove the biscuits from the oven and immediately brush with the topping mixture.
Step 9
Allow to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
Recipe Notes:

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container or zip-lock bag at room temperature for up to 3 days.
