Step 1
Mix the honey, vinegar, sugar, hoisin sauce, spice paste, and soy sauce in a wide, nonmetallic bowl. Pour over the pork. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

Preheat the oven to 400 degreed. Drain the pork, reserving the marinade, and place on a wire rack in a roasting pan.
Step 3
Pour boiling water into the pan until it is 1 inch deep, and place in the oven for 20 minutes.

Turn the pork over, brush with the marinade, then cook for an additional 20 minutes, or until there is no trace of pink in the juices.

Mix the rice wine and cornstarch to a smooth paste, then place in a pan with the reserved marinade and stock.
Step 6
Bring to a boil while stirring, then simmer for 2 minutes, until thickened and clear.
Step 7
Slice the pork thinly and serve with the sauce spooned over. Serve with stir fried vegetables.
