Scones are good for breakfast or brunch! They can get quite heavy on the stomach but only if you eat too much (based on my experience). They taste great though! Enjoy! :)

Instructions

Step 1
Mix the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together.

Mix the butter, buttermilk, egg and vanilla extract together.

Combine both mixtures together.

Mix until it starts to form dough.

When ready, start kneading the dough with your hands until it is formed/stable.

Roll it out, then cut it into triangles.

Place the triangles on a pan (square or circle) and brush them with milk.

Bake them at 200°C for 18-25 minutes.

When they're done, let them rest for about 10 minutes.

Sprinkle some powdered sugar on them and enjoy!
