Ingredients

1 cupall purpose flour
2 tablespoonsgranulated sugar
1 teaspoonbaking powder
⅛ teaspoonground cinnamon
⅛ teaspoonbaking soda
⅛ teaspoonsalt
¼ cupsalted butter
cold and cut into small pieces
¼ cupmilk
1egg yolk

Honey Vanilla Glaze
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 425° F (220° C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or use a silicone liner.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
Step 3
Using a pastry blender, a fork, or your fingertips, cut butter into flour mixture until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Step 4
In a small bowl, whisk together milk, egg yolk, and lemon juice. Pour into the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
Step 5
Gently stir in the chopped peaches.
Step 6
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured work surface. Knead very lightly and form a 5" x 5" circle that is 1" thick.
Step 7
Cut circle into four wedges and place on baking sheet. Bake 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
Step 8
Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer onto a wire rack to cool completely, about 20 minutes.
Step 9
In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, honey, and vanilla until smooth. Spoon over cooled scones. Enjoy.
