Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt butter in a pot over medium-low heat. Add flour, salt, pepper, sage, and thyme, and whisk about 1 minute.

Step 3
Add milk and vegetable broth and whisk to combine. Increase heat to medium and whisk occasionally, until sauce thickens (when whisk leaves a defined trail). Remove from heat and stir in beans.

Spray an 11x17” baking dish with cooking spray. Pour in mixture and smooth.
Step 5
Sprinkle with fried onions. Bake 20-25 minutes or until heated through.
