Crockpot chicken and rice

Any rice side can be used - preferred is chicken and broccoli. Any veggie can be used; eyeball 1-2 cups. Chicken can be put in raw but pan searing first adds flavor!

Instructions

Step 1
Season raw chicken and set aside
Step 2
Add rice, chicken broth, and veggies to crockpot. Stir, cover, & turn on high heat.
Step 3
Pan sear chicken breast (in cast iron) for 3 minutes on each side. Add pan drippings to crockpot for extra flavor & stir.
Step 4
Set chicken breast on top off rice
Step 5
Cover and turn in low for 3-4 hours
