Step 1
1. Place the nuts in a large, dry, non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. You want to toast the nuts, so cook for around 4-5 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally. The nuts may brown a little.

2. Once the nuts are toasted, add the butter, sugar, chilli, cayenne and sea salt to the pan.

3. Stir everything together to ensure the nuts are well coated. When the coating starts to bubble in the bottom of the pan. give everything a final stir and tip out onto a sheet of baking paper. Make sure the nuts are well spread out and not clumped together.
Step 4
4. Leave to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving, which will allow the coating to solidify.
Step 5
5. Tip into a bowl, not missing any of the lovely sugary bits, and enjoy while still warm.
