The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie

Recipe notes:
1) If working with melted butter, put the dough in the fridge prior putting on baking sheet
2) add sea salt to the cookies when fresh out of the oven for a sweet and salty element
3) For a softer cookie, bake for 9 mins or until golden around the edges
4) Put uncooked dough rolled into balls into a sealed ziplock bag and place in freezer for up to 3 months. Cool from frozen at 375 for 11 mins

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375F.
Step 2
Combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Step 4
Add the eggs and continue to beat until well combined.
Step 5
Add the dry ingredients and continue to beat until the dough is mixed.
Step 6
Add the chocolate to the dough and gently stir until they're mixed into the dough.
Step 7
Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
Step 8
Bake at 375F for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges become golden
