Instructions
Step 1
Cream butter in a medium mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extracts, beating well.
Step 2
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl; add to creamed mixture, stirring well.
Step 3
Press dough from a cookie press 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets, using desired shaping discs.
Step 4
Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool. Yields about 6 dozen.
