Ingredients

½ cupbutter
or margarine, melted
½ cupcanned pumpkin purée
or cooked
½ cupdark brown sugar
firmly packed
¼ cupsugar
1 ½ teaspoonspumpkin pie spice
1 cupquick-cooking oats
1 cupflour
2 teaspoonsbaking powder
1 teaspoonbaking soda
½ teaspoonsalt
½ cupwhite chocolate chips
1 cuppowdered sugar
2 teaspoonsmaple syrup
2 teaspoonsmilk
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the butter, pumpkin, brown sugar, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice; stir until well blended. In a medium bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix until blended. Add the oat mixture to the pumpkin mixture and stir until combined. Stir in the white chocolate chips.
Step 3
Drop the dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned, 13–16 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on the baking sheet for 1 to 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool to room temperature.
Step 4
In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk. Drizzle each cookie with the icing and allow to set for 30 minutes.
