Step 1

Cut acorn squash in halves, score the insides to allow sugar/butter to melt in.
Step 2

Melt butter and add brown sugar, mix until combined and rub over tops and insides of squash, sprinkle with generous amount of cinnamon and pinch of nutmeg
Step 3
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, check for doneness with a fork and brush butter/sugar/cinnamon mixture over any dry spots. (You can add more to taste if needed) Continue baking until fork tender (30m-60m depending on size)
