cream butter and first 1/4 cup powder sugar.

add water and vanilla, mix well

add flour and nuts. will be like a thick paste. dust a little flour on your hands and make small oblong shapes, like a date, but a bit larger.

Bake for about 30 minutes, maybe longer depending on how thick your cookies were

allow cookies to almost cool, put into a zip lock bag and toss with remaining powdered sugar
