Instructions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350° F.

Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Place hash browns, melted butter, cheese and cream of soup in a large bowl and give it a mix - for easier mixing, thaw your hash browns in the fridge over night or for a few hours (this is not mandatory but is very helpful).

Next poor your ranch packet into the sour cream container and mix well. Once combined, add ranch sour cream mixture to your potato mixture and combine all ingredients added so far very thoroughly.

Level out with a spatula, add desired cheese on top of your potato mixture.

Store for 24 hours, or no longer than 2 days in the fridge if making ahead. This is not required and you can pop it right in the oven at this time!

When ready to bake, place your casserole into your preheated oven and bake for 45 min. All oven temps vary so do keep this in mind. Remove one’s golden or to your desired preference (should be 40 minutes minimum - but you know your oven).

Once done cooking, carefully remove your hot dish from your oven and add any desired toppings- such as chopped green onions!
