Instructions

Bottom layer

Step 1
Melt first 3 ingredients on top of double boiler or in heavy saucepan.

Add beaten egg and stir to cool and thiken.

Remove from heat. Stir in Graham craker crumbs, coconut and nuts.

Press firmly into an ungreased 9x9 pan.

Second layer

Step 5
Cream butter, milk, custard powder and icing sugar together. Beat until light. Spread combination over the bottom layer.

Melt chocolate chips over low heat, using a pot (if needed, add in half a cup of milk).

Let the melted chocolate cool. When cooled but still runny, spread the mixture onto the second layer.

Chill in the refrigerator.
