Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
Spray two 8 or 9 inch baking pans with baking spray
Step 3
Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together in large bowl, set aside
Step 4
In bowl of stand mixer beat shortening, oil, and sugar till well combined.
Step 5
Mix in egg whites and extracts till well combined.
Step 6
Mix in yogurt
Step 7
Add dry ingredients gradually alternating with almond milk beginning and ending with the dry ingredients, and beat till fluffy. Don't overmix.
Step 8
Pour evenly into pans and bake 30 minutes. Test with toothpick at 25 minutes.
Step 9
Cool in pans until pans are cool to touch, then take out xakea and cool on rack until totally cooled before frosting. Frostcwith vanilla or chocolate buttercream. I have postings for both.
