Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat oven, 220 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

2. Sieve flour into large bowl

Add baking powder, salt and dried herbs and combine.
Step 4
4. Add diced butter to flour and rub between fingertips until resembles breadcrumbs.
Step 5
5. Add grated cheese and toss together until cheese is coated in flour.
Step 6
6. Whisk together milk and egg in a jug.
Step 7
7. Add a little at a time to the flour mix (you won’t need all of it), stop when’s forms a wettish dough.
Step 8
8. Roll out onto floured surface until 2ch thick.
Step 9
9. Cut out circles, place the baking tray and brush with leftover milk and egg mixture.
Step 10
10. Bake for 10-12mins.
