Instructions
Prep work:
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 250°F.

Step 2
If using bag popcorn, pop 3-4 bags.
Step 3
In a roasting pan, mix popcorn and nuts.
Cooking
Step 4
In a heavy 2 quart saucepan, stir together sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Sir constantly as you bring to a boil over medium heat.
Step 5
Without stirring, cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and soda.
Step 7
Coat popcorn, mix well.
Step 8
Put in oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
