Step 1
Add warm milk to the blender and blend while milk is blending add in baking soda, baking powder and salt through the spout of the blender. Continue to blend for 1 minute then semolina and blend an additional minute once done blending let rest for 5 minutes. Preheat your non stick griddle or pan on high. Add your batter to a bendable plastic cup and pour your batter on to griddle or skillet over high heat in to a round pancake shape. Bubbles should start to form do not flip and let it sit until all the bubbles are popped and in no longer looks wet then transfer to a towel line sheet pan to cool and keep them covered! Don’t skip covering them or they will dry out and not close correctly while stuffing them. Once cool enough to handle stuff them by placing a spoonful of your filling in the center and pinch the ends closed until you create a half moon shape then place on your sheet pan that sprayed with nonstick spray and brush some melted butter on top and bake at 350° for about 15 to 20 minutes flipping halfway. Then dip in your simple syrup and enjoy!

In a small sauce pan combine for 4 cups of sugar and 3 cups of water for the simple syrup and bring to a boil. Once boiling add fresh 1 tsp lemon juice and boil for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until thickens and coats the back of a spoon and then move to the side.
