Instructions
Cook chicken and pasta first
Step 1
If you are using precooked chicken, skip to step 2. I like to cook my chicken in the instant pot first to give it more flavor. Add in the pot: 1 cup of chicken broth, 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning, 3/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and stir together. Add 3-4 chicken breasts and cook on high pressure. (Raw chicken for 10 minutes or frozen for 14 minutes.) Let the pressure drop naturally or release the pressure.
Step 2
Bring water to a boil and cook the linguine until tender.
Sauce Mixture
Step 3
Add together butter, chicken broth, soup cans, and sour cream. Mix together.
Step 4
Add cooked chicken (shredded or diced) into the mixture and fold in. Add in the salt and pepper.
Step 5
Drain the pasta and add on top of mixture. Mix until all pasta is well coated.
Step 6
Pour the pasta mixture into a 9x13 baking dish. Add Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses on top. Bake uncovered at 350° for 30 minutes.
