Grandma Rosalie’s (German/Deutsch) Chocolate Cake
15 layer compressed chocolate cake

Instructions
Step 1

Bake yellow cakes (only about 10 min) in disposable pie pans. Use 8 pans (normally would use only 4) to create half thickness cakes. Very liberally spray cooking oil into pans to allow easy separation later on.
Step 2

Break chocolate bars into small pieces, add cream and butter. Microwave for about 2 min then stir to mix, keep mixing and microwaving for 30 second intervals until a smooth consistent paste is achieved.
Step 3

Put wax paper in deep stainless pot, add first cake layer w top on cake touching bottom of pan, spread chocolate sauce on top, add each additional cake w chocolate spread in between layers.
Step 4

Compress w pot lid and 5-10lb weight and let sit in refrigerator overnight.
Step 5
Slice into thin 3/8” slices, serve w fresh whip cream and red raspberries.
