Instructions
Step 1
In a large saucepan, combine butter, 2 tablespoons flour, sugar, salt, and milk. Cook on low heat until thickened. Add cheese and stir until melted.
Step 2
Cool to lukewarm. Add water and yeast. Mix in 3 to 3 1/2 cups sifted flour.
Step 3
Knead and let rise, twice. Set in a loaf pan. Let rise until one and one-half time in size (about 30 minutes).
Step 4
During final rise time, preheat oven to 375º.
Step 5
Bake 45-50 minutes.
