Lab-e-shireen is popular custard based dessert. This made with custard , cream, fruit cocktail, coloured vermicelli and colourful jellies. Other add-ons like nuts, or chum chum to enhance the flavour.

Instructions
Step 1
For Lab-e-Shireen, make red, yellow and green jellies according to packet instructions.
Step 2
Add in a dish and keep aside until set.
Step 3
Boil coloured vermicelli. Drain and set aside.
Step 4
Make custard according to packet instruction. I am using simple vanilla custard.
Step 5
Take 300 ml cold milk in a bowl, add custard powder and mix to make a smooth mixture.
Step 6
In a pot , pour 1 litre of milk and bring to boil.
Step 7
Add sugar , mix well and cook until sugar is dissolved. Slowly pour dissolved custard, stir continuously until smooth.
Step 8
Transfer to the bowl, add boiled coloured vermicelli.
Step 9
Add chopped almonds and pistachios. Mix well and set aside to cool down completely. Once cooled down, add double cream and mix.
Step 10
Drain canned fruit cocktail. Cut jellies in cubes
Step 11
Add fruit cocktail, cubed jellies, and chum chum. Give everything a last mix. Refrigerate until serve.
Step 12
Serve cold and Enjoy!
