Curry Rice
Instructions
Step 1
This recipe calls for a rice cooker, if you don't have one I assume you know how to cook rice a different way (but also, please get a rice cooker it'll make life so much easier).
Chicken Marinade
Step 2
Slice your chicken into strips, then transfer them to a bowl.

To your chicken, add garlic, garam masala, curry powder, cinnamon, paprika, cayenne, chili powder, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil.

Mix everything together, then cover and leave in your fridge overnight (or until your patience evaporates).
Sauce
Step 5
In a bowl, mix your yoghurt, curry powder, garlic powder, garam masala, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Taste as you mix, and adjust the levels of each ingredient to your liking.

Cooking Time

Rinse your rice, then add to your rice cooker, along with curry powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Mix everything around till all your grains are coated with the seasonings, add water, then start your rice cooker.
Step 8
To a medium-high heat pan or skillet, add a bit of olive oil, followed by your chicken. Cook all the way through, then prepare to serve.
Serving
Step 9
Place your rice in a bowl, followed by your shawarma, and finally drizzle on your sauce. Serve with some flatbread, sliced pickles, tomatoes, or whatever you like, and enjoy!
