Caramelised Onion & Blue Cheese Steak Sandwich

This is my all time favourite steak sandwich served best with a medium rare/ rare steak and created to be shared :)

Instructions

Step 1
- Start off by thinly slicing the onion and low and slowly cooking that in a pan with olive oil, butter, salt and balsamic vinegar
Step 2
- Season your steaks with salt and pepper then sear the fat cap, continue by searing the rest of the steak to your preferred doneness.
Step 3
- Then remove the steaks and allow them to rest (while you dance)
Step 4
- Toast the Ciabatta bread under the grill
Step 5
- Layer the sandwich with caramelised onions, rocket, steak, then blue cheese, melt the cheese under a grill and add the top half of the ciabatta.
Step 6
- Enjoy with some diluting juice and relax
