Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°.

Step 2
Dump beans into colander and drain well. With a large spoon, press out all juice.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, add beans, small amount of ketchup and even less mustard. Stir well.
Step 4
Add onion and green pepper. Stir well.
Step 5
Add 2 handfuls of brown sugar. Stir well.
Step 6
Pour mixture into baking dish and sprinkle top with a little brown sugar.
Step 7
Bake 1 hour. If too juicy, bake another 1/2 hour.
Step 8
Find the perfect bean box and wrap covered bean dish with newspaper and a towel to keep in the heat.
