Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Butter, then line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper. If dairy-free, you can use coconut oil or lightly brush the pan with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Whisk the flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
Step 3
Whisk the oil, both types of sugar, egg, and water in a separate mixing bowl until well combined.
Step 4
Add the dry ingredients to the wet as you whisk. Stop when you have a glossy batter.
Step 5
Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Gently shake to evenly distribute the brownie batter.
Step 6
Bake brownies for 15-17 minutes. The brownies will be set on top, but a tester inserted in the center should come out with fudgy crumbs.
Step 7
Remove from the oven and cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Then, lift them out of the pan and cool for another 15 minutes on the parchment paper.
Step 8
Cut into six brownies and enjoy.
