I marinate these at least overnight, but you can do it for a couple of hours and it will still be good.

Step 2
STEAKS night before- add to a bowl with a compatible lid, add about 1/4 cup of soy sauce, a splash of vinegar 1/4 cup olive oil and juice a lime, just put the lime half in too. Add your basil, parsley and minced garlic, salt pepper, and garlic powder then slice your onion and throw in your steaks. Put on the lid and shake well before putting in the fridge. If the steaks are stacked ontop of eachother make sure to flip or shake the bowl later.
Step 3
In a pot depending on how may steaks you made, cook up to 1 or 2 cups of the mixed rice only halfway, because you will use it again.
Step 4
Sear steaks on both sides in the pan with the marinade, onions and limes, then put in the oven at 400 until cooked to your preference. When done remove the steaks and limes and add your rice to the pan with 1 and 1/2 of milk and three slices of havarti cheese, season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika and cook until rice is done
Step 5
When your veggies and potatoes are soft, add a table spoon of minced garlic and stir, then serve.
