Instructions

Step 1
1. Clean and remove the thorns from the nopales.
Step 2
2. Cut the nopales into your desired shape.
Step 3
3. Add nopales, onion, garlic cloves, tomatillo skin, and salt to a pan over medium heat.

4. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until nopales are dark green.
Step 5
5. Add the cooked nopales into a colander and rinse with cold water. Make sure there is no “baba.”
Step 6
6. Add to your favorite dishes and enjoy. This is 4 servings of nopales.
