Easy egg tarts

Using frozen tart shells makes this a breeze to make. The egg custard filling can be whipped up in minutes using regular pantry ingredients and it just takes 15-20 minutes to bake. This recipe makes 8-9 egg tarts.

Instructions

Step 1
Whisk 2 eggs in a mixing bowl and set aside. Preheat oven to 400F

Melt sugar in hot water and add in pinch of salt

Add condensed milk + water mixture and sugar mixture to eggs and mix well

Strain mixture using a sieve to remove lumps

Pour egg mixture to egg tarts leaving a gap on top (custard will expand)
Step 6
Bake for 15-20 minutes till golden brown or when toothpick comes out clean

Serve warm or when cooled down. Store excess in airtight container
