Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F

Step 2
Slice onion in rings and place on bottom of baking tray.

Place salmon skin side down on onion slices, sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder on top. Spread butter generously all over salmon.

Step 4
Cover dish with tin foil and bake for 30-45 minutes.

Uncover and place under broiler for 5-10 minutes until light crust forms.
