Instructions
Step 1
Start by prepping the veg. Finely dice the onion, peel and dice the carrot, peel and dice the potatoes.
Step 2
Brown the mince and then add in the carrot, onion, 1 litre of stock and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for approximately 30 minutes.
Step 3
Pop the potatoes onto a pot of cold salted water and bring to the boil, once boiling lower the heat slightly and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Brush the puff pastry with milk or egg and pop onto the oven for the recommended cooking time.
Step 5
Once the potatoes have cooked mash them with some milk, butter and pepper. I like to put mine through a potato ricer for a smooth mash.
Step 6
Add the gravy granules to the mince to thicken and mix well. Add in some salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7
Serve with the puff pastry and some peas (optional. Enjoy!
