Instructions

Prep

Step 1
Make sure your butter is frozen and stays that way up until we add it. Also make sure the buttermilk stays as cold as possible too.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees and stone baking sheet, if you have one.

Dough

Step 3
Mixing all the dry ingredients into a food processor, give it a quick spin to mix dry ingredients.

Loosely chop up the butter into 1/2" chunks and add to the food processor; process until the butter is small bits

Dump food processor contents into a bull and add buttermilk. Mix until just combined. DONT OVER MIX!
Step 6
Flour a surface and fold the dough three times. Then press out to about 1/2" thick and cut into biscuits.
Step 7
Butter a baking sheet, stone perferably, and place biscuits close enough that there is about a 1/4" gap on all sides

Bake

Step 8
Bake the biscuits for about 12 mins or until they are golden brown on top. Make sure you are opening the oven as little as possible.

Once the biscuits are done, place in a bowl or plate and lightly cover.
