Nutella Puppy Chow
7 steps
Prep:5minCook:5min
I love chocolate and hazelnut. So naturally it made sense for me to swap the peanut butter with Nutella when making puppy chow. This comes together in 10 minutes and is so addicting. It doesn’t last long in my house.
Some notes: if you have a large enough bowl that has a lit you can use that instead of a ziplock bag, but using a bag makes for way easier clean up.
If you use unsalted butter increase the salt to 1/2 a tsp.

Instructions
Step 1
1. Over a double boiler on low heat, melt your chocolate chips and butter and salt. Alternatively, you can also do this in a microwave safe bowl and stir every 20 seconds till melted.
Step 2
2. Once melted add in your Nutella and mix till smooth and combined
Step 3
3. Pour your cereal into a ziplock bag along with the melted chocolate mixture
Step 4
4. Make sure there is enough air in the bag and give it a shake till the melted chocolate mixture covers all the cereal
Step 5
5. Add in 1 cup of the powdered sugar and mix again. Take a look, if you like more powdered sugar add another 1/2 cup.
Step 6
6. Pour the mixture into another clean ziplock bag or plastic container with a lid and place in the fridge for 10 minutes just to get the chocolate to firm up a bit. This is totally optional but I think it taste way better cold.
Step 7
7. Enjoy!
