Bacon-Ranch-Cheddar Chicken with sides

I modified this recipe to include cheddar cheese and to cook bacon in the oven versus stove top. I also am using frozen sweet potato fries instead of Emeals home-made herb-roasted potatoes.

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375F. Spread bacon in a single layer on a rimmed baking pan. lightly sprinkle with black pepper.

Bake bacon 15-20 minutes or until crispy. Remove from pan, blot with paper towels. set aside.

Cook french fries in air fryer at 400F for 18-20 minutes. Use a basket with rotate function or shake half-way if using a basket. If you don't have an air-fryer you can bake in the oven on a rack separate from the bacon. Bake 375 for about 20 minutes.

Preheat fry pan to med-high. Cut chicken in half lengthwise. Brush all sides with oil, sprinkle with pepper. Pour remaining oil in pan.

Cook chicken, covered, 5-6 minutes on each side, brushing both sides with ranch dressing.

Microwave or steam green beans according to package.

Sprinkle cheese on chicken and steam an additional minute or until melty. Crumble bacon onto chicken.
