Marmalade - Blueberry

Perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack, completely natural with natural and seasonal ingredients. Make it in the late spring or early summer when strawberries are tasty and sweet to have a perfect result. This version is made with blueberries.

Instructions

Step 1
Wash gently the blueberries under fresh water. Now cut all the blueberries in pieces, the smaller the pieces are, the quicker they will melt to become your marmalade

Place now the blueberries in a large pot, and squeeze the lemon on top of them.

Step 3
Place now your pot on the burner, add now the sugar and stir gently. In few minutes the blueberries should start melting slowly. Simmer the marmalade and stir with a spatula (or a wooden spoon) for at least 40 minutes.

Step 4
After 40 minutes take half teaspoon of marmelade and place it on a plate. Wait a couple of minutes so it can cool and then try to move the plate and see if the marmalade is too liquid or sticky enough. If is too liquid, keep stiring and cooking until all the liquids are absorbed.

Put the marmelade in a jar and keep in your refrigerator up to a week.
