Instructions
Step 1
Prepare pasta per package directions. Use salted water.
Step 2
Bring squash and 2-1/2 c milk to boil over med-high heat. Simmer until squash is tender, about 20 minutes (depending on size of dice).
Step 3
Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease 3-quart baking dish.
Step 4
In separate bowl combine remaining 1/4 c milk and flour. Stir into squash mixture and continue to cook 2 to 3 minutes until thickened, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Off heat and add 1-1/2 c Gouda and stir until melted. Combine with cooked pasta and pour into prepared baking dish.
Step 6
In a small bowl, combine remaining Gouda and bread crumbs. Sprinkle over pasta.
Step 7
Bake until top is browned, about 15 minutes.
