Instructions

Cake

Step 1
Beat the eggs for 2 minutes

Mix in the sugar 3-4 minutes

Mix in vegetable oil

On a separate container for dry ingredients, sith the flour

Add baking powder and salt

Mix the dry ingredients

Pour 1/3 of dry ingredients into wet ingredients

Mix on low until fully incorporated

Add 1/3 of the 1/2 cup of milk and mix in

Repeat steps 7 to 9 until everything is mixed in

Add vanilla

Let batter read for 20-30 minutes in the fridge

Prepare pan, cut parchment paper, grease the pan

Fill pan 3/4 of the way and tap to release the bubbles

Bake at 330F (165C) for 40 minutes

Icing

Make sure the butter is soft

Use a stand mixer with a paddle, low and slow mix

Add powdered sugar (sith it). Low and slow mix

Add the heavy cream and mix

Add salt and mix

Press the icing with a spatula to remove the bubbles
