Step 1

melt the butter and oil in a saucepan

add the diced onion for a few minutes

Add the salt and diced ham for 30 seconds

Add the flour and stir until it turns a light brown colour

add the milk bit by bit

Step 6

let the dough cool to room temperature

refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight

shape into balls
Step 9

cover in flour then eggs, then breadcrumbs


Step 10

fry for a few minutes until golden brown
