Instructions

Step 1
In a small bowl place cocoa powder and 20 ml milk and mix into a paste.
Step 2
In a large bowl, place the rest of the dry ingredients, and mix well. Add the milk gradually with the dry mixture and knead. Add the oil, and knead for about 5 minutes until everything is well combined.
Step 3
Divide the dough equally into two portions and cover. Knead the 1st half of the dough for about 10-15 minutes until the dough is smooth.
Step 4
Take the 2nd half of the dough, and mix with the cocoa paste. Knead the dough for 10-15 minutes until the dough is mixed well and smooth.
Step 5
Cover both dough in two separate bowls and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Roll out each dough into 10 x 16 inches on a parchment paper. Place the milk dough on top of the chocolate dough, and roll out on top of the parchment paper to stick both dough together. Remove the parchment papers and start rolling the dough lengthwise into a log shape.
Step 7
Cut each portion into 2 inches.
Step 8
Place a round parchment paper with small holes on the steamer, then place the buns on it. make sure to keep them apart at least 2 inches.
Step 9
After the water simmers, on a low heat place the buns to proof for about 15-20 minutes.
Step 10
After proofing, increase the flame to high and steam the buns for about 15 minutes until they are cooked. Eat them fresh as it is or with some melted chocolate.
