Instructions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375.
Step 2
Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until fluffy. Add eggs and mix together. Add salt. Put flour on top of wet ingredients but don't mix yet. Sprinkle baking powder on the flour and lightly mix the flour and baking powder together. Start stirring. Add milk a bit at a time. Now add blueberries. Some folks mash some of the blueberries; we saved a few whole berries to dot the top of the unbaked muffin. We think a little extra vanilla and salt rarely go wrong.
Step 3
Pour into muffin tin -- we strongly recommend paper muffin cups, this batter is sticky. Sprinkle muffin batter with sugar to make the crispy top. Bake 25-30 minutes.
