If you have ever wanted to try making pasta dough at home, a water based dough is where you wanna start! It’s fairly simple and I would bet you already have all the ingredients at home! Follow along to see the easiest shapes you can make that require next to no equipment!

Instructions
Step 1
1. Weigh out your flour(s) and water
Step 2
2. If using 00 and semolina, whisk those two flours together in a medium bowl till combined
Step 3
3. Make a small well into the flour and pour your water into the well.
Step 4
4. Slowly add in some of the flour from the edges of the bowl. Do this bit by bit till the mixture is a thick paste like consistency
Step 5
5. Turn your flour mixture onto a clean counter top.
Step 6
6. If you have a bench scraper, fold and cut the flour mixture till you are able to use your hands to knead the dough
Step 7
7. Knead the dough for 10-15 mins. The dough will be done kneading when there is no flour left on your hands and the dough has a rough cellulite-like texture.
Step 8
8. Wrap with plastic wrap and rest for 30-60 minutes at room temperature
