Instructions

Step 1
Combine sugar, water and yeast in a large mixing bowl

Add in flour (you may need more water)
Step 3
Mix with a spoon (or optionally a stand mixer with the bread attachment

Turn out onto a lightly floured piece of parchment paper or a silicone cookie sheet

Kneed for 3 minutes and shape into a ball

Put dough back in the bowl and let rest for 2h 30 min

Then turn out and lightly kneed again

Oven to 230 degrees celsius
Step 9
Line a loaf tin with parchment paper and lightly grease with some oil

Put in the oven and bake for 40 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean

Let cool and keep in a bread basket
