Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°. Spray a 1-qt shallow baking dish with nonstick spray.

Beat the egg and water in a shallow bowl. Combine the bread crumbs, parsley, cheese, and pepper on a sheet of wax paper.

Step 3
Dip 1 piece of chicken into the egg mixture. Then dip both sides into the bread-crumb mixture, shaking off the excess. Place the chicken in the baking dish. Repeat with the remaining pieces of chicken. Discard any leftover egg mixture and bread crumb mixture.
